平湖含白水，

曲折如银蛇。

遥看群山影，

近观百草花。

白鸟出水溅，

红鱼欲上横。

春天绿水面，

夏日清风吹。

译文：

In Pinghu lies the white water,

Meandering like a silver snake.

From afar, the shadows of mountains appear,

Up close, a hundred flowers bloom.

A white bird splashes out of the water,

A red fish leaps to the surface.

In spring, the water is green and serene,

In summer, the gentle breeze blows.
